We wanted to bridge the gap between those older SBO systems and the newer Matrix series so you don’t have to choose between keeping old gear or spending a fortune on a full overhaul. We spent the time mapping out every single dimension and connector spacing for both lines. We standardized the housing and the lead lengths so these are true “drop-in” replacements. You just slide them in. No drilling. No swearing at the wiring. Just a clean swap. Let’s talk heat. We use shortwave infrared because it hits the PET preforms fast. To keep up with high-speed production, we spec these for high wattage. It gets the job done quickly. But there’s a catch. Because we’re packing so much power into a small quartz tube, things get hot. Really hot. If your oven’s forced-air cooling isn’t humming along as it should, that heat can actually warp the module housing over time. Just keep an eye on your fans. Installation (or lack thereof) We used standard connectors that actually stay put. When a machine is running 24/7, vibrations are the enemy. These won’t shake loose. The best part?
